Shop

The shop ships with the engine but is off by default: turn it on in “System → Modules”. The chapters about the shop, the forum and downloads apply to those modules.

Everything below lives in Sales → Shop and is organized as tabs on top of the page: products, categories, orders, delivery, promo codes, discounts, order fields, settings.

The engine has no payments built in, on purpose. Every country has its own payment systems, and tying the engine to one would mean selling it together with that system. An order is created, the seller gets an email, and the two sides settle the rest between themselves; accepting money is added by a separate module.

Products and their variants

A product has a price, stock, SKU, image and description. An empty stock value means “not tracked”, as with services; zero means “sold out”. These are different things.

If one product comes in several sizes or colors, create variants (the button on the product form). A variant has its own price, its own stock and its own SKU; leave them empty and the product values are used. The customer picks a variant with a switch, and a sold-out one is visible right away. Stock is deducted from the variant itself.

Do not confuse variants with order fields: a field only asks a question, while a variant sits in the warehouse and can run out on its own.

Digital products

The “Digital product” button on the product form. There are three ways to deliver:

MethodWhen it fits
Filethe same for everyone: a book, a template, an archive
Linkthe same for everyone: a page, a folder in the cloud
Keyunique for each buyer, from a stock loaded in advance

Delivery happens when you mark the order as paid. Marking it again will not use up a second key. If the keys run out, nothing is delivered and you are told so plainly: replenish the stock and click “Hand over the rest”.

The customer sees the purchase on the order page and also receives it in a separate email. Downloads go through a personal pass link rather than the order number, and they are counted: you can set a limit, otherwise a single purchased file will spread across chats.

The same page has a delivery log: who it went to, when, and whether it was picked up.

Delivery

Delivery methods with their own price and a free-delivery threshold (“free delivery from 2000”). The order keeps a snapshot: the name and price at the moment of purchase. You can delete a method; past orders are not affected.

If the cart contains only digital goods, delivery is not asked about at all.

Discounts: promo codes and rules

There are two kinds, and they are different:

  • Promo code is a word the customer enters themselves. In money or in percent, with an expiry date, a threshold and a usage limit.
  • Rule applies on its own: “from 1000, minus 5%”, “from three items, minus 10%”, “for products in this category”, “for this customer role”.

Discounts do not stack: neither rules with each other, nor a rule with a promo code. Whichever is better for the customer is applied; if the code loses, the customer is told so, and it stays in the cart in case it becomes the better deal.

Custom order fields

Questions for the customer beyond name and phone: post office branch, size, a convenient time for a call. A single line, long text, a choice from a list or a checkbox; they can be made required. The answer goes into the order as a separate line instead of getting lost in a general comment.

Orders

An order is only read and moved from one status to another. Editing its contents is deliberately impossible: an order is what was agreed, and changing it after the fact means arguing with the customer using their own words.

Payment is marked separately from the status: an order can be confirmed and unpaid, completed and prepaid, or canceled after payment.

An order that has been new and unpaid for a week is flagged in the list, and a warning appears on the panel overview: usually this is someone's oversight, and the customer is still waiting for an answer.

From an order you can open a printable invoice. What to print in its header is set in the shop settings, line for line.

Reviews and ratings

Product reviews are ordinary comments, and they are moderated in the same place as all the others. A review can carry a rating from one to five; the average is shown on the product card once ratings appear. A review without a rating is not counted in the average.

Call-back request

Under the buy button there is “Call me back”: one field, the phone number. The request goes to Community → Messages from the site and is sent by email. It works as long as the feedback module is on.
