Booking by branch
If “Contacts” has branches, the visitor chooses the place of the booking: the free times follow the branch’s hours, and every place has its own occupancy.
Section: Admin → Bookings. You need the modules “Bookings” and “Contacts” (both are in the salon kit); branches are created in Contacts → “+ Add branch”, see the page “Contacts: the map, branches and “nearest to me””.
What the visitor sees
- The booking page gets the choice “Where to meet”: the main address or a branch. While there are no branches there is no choice, and everything works as before.
- The free times follow the hours of the chosen place. A branch without hours of its own uses the common booking hours.
- A branch card on the “Contacts” page has the button “Book here”.
Occupancy by place
A time taken at one branch stays free at the main address and at the other branches: the same day and hour can be accepted by several places at once, but not twice by one place. A cancellation frees the time of that very place, and a move does not take a booking to another place.
Where the owner sees it
The place is written in the letters to the client and in the reminders, in the calendar file (the field “Location”), in the list of bookings and in the CSV export (the column “Location”). A booking without a place belongs to the main address.
After the update
The update adds the place columns to the bookings table: apply it in System → Updates.
