From this version on, Nex1on can be installed and maintained without a developer and without a command line. A buyer on ordinary shared hosting has neither SSH nor composer, so everything that used to need a console is now done from the panel.
Installation
A browser wizard: server check, database access, owner account. If the database refuses the connection, the wizard says why instead of showing a blank error.Updates and relocation
- Updates from the panel: new migrations are applied with the "Update" button, no command line needed.
- Moving the engine above the web root, from the panel. The old location is cleaned up by the next request, already served from the new location: code cannot move itself out from under its own feet.
- Stylesheet version stamps are taken from the file's modification time. Previously visitors kept seeing old styles after an update.

- News module 1.0.0: feed, categories, posts with excerpts, pinning.
- Custom sections module 1.0.0 — a section builder: the owner creates custom entry types with fields, no programming required.
- Site search, sitemap and robots.txt.
- The site menu is edited from the panel.
- Redirects from old addresses, for migrating from another engine.
Security
Field names in the section builder go into SQL as is, so they pass a character whitelist, a length limit and a reserved-word list. Addresses in the menu and in redirects are validated too.Bundled modules
