N1Time Privacy Policy

The N1Time app keeps your data on your phone only. The developer does not receive or store your data.

This policy covers the N1Time mobile app (work hours and pay tracking). Updated: October 2026.

1. Who is responsible

The app is provided by the NEX1ON studio (nex1on.com). Questions about data and anything else: support@nex1on.com.

2. In short

  • All your data — pay cards, hour records, expenses, name, settings — is stored only on your phone.
  • We, the developer, do not receive or store your data. The app has no server of ours, no accounts and no sign-up with us.
  • The app has no analytics, no ads and no crash reporting, and no third-party advertising or statistics libraries.

3. What is stored on the phone

Everything is kept in the app's storage on your phone:
  • all app data as one set: language, name, country of work, weekly hours norm, week start; pay cards (rate, currency, taxes, break, overtime rules, supplements, tariffs, deductions, holiday pay, payday); hour records (times, breaks, notes); expenses with receipt photos; the running shift; reminder settings;
  • the chosen theme;
  • the time of the last data change (for the restore prompt);
  • the previous data for a week after an app update or a backup restore (then it is erased).
If you set a lock code, it is stored as PBKDF2-SHA256 with a salt; the app does not store the code itself. The lock closes the app screen and does not encrypt the data. The app never receives your fingerprint: Android performs that check. Android's system backup is turned off for the app, and the app does not store Google sign-in tokens.

4. Google Drive backup (optional)

You can turn the backup on in Settings by signing in with a Google account. This sign-in is needed only for the backup.
  • The backup is a single file in the hidden app folder of your Google Drive. The app asks for one permission only — access to that folder (drive.appdata); it cannot see any other file in your Drive.
  • The backup contains: language, name, country of work, weekly hours norm, week start; pay cards (rate, currency, taxes, break, overtime, supplements, tariffs, deductions, holiday pay, payday); hour records (times, breaks, notes); expenses without receipt photos; the running shift; reminder settings; the technical version and time of the backup. Not included: receipt photos, the lock code, the Google sign-in state and the theme.
  • We do not add our own encryption: the file is protected by HTTPS and your Google account, and is kept in the hidden app folder on your Google Drive and is available to you and this app.
  • When you sign in, the app receives your Google email (to show "Signed in as…") and, if needed, your name. They stay on the phone and are not sent to us.
  • Google Play may show the developer anonymized crash information if you allowed it in Android settings. We do not collect crash information ourselves.
  • The backup is stored by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Android permissions

  • Internet — only to talk to Google when you are signed in and use the backup.
  • Notifications — reminders (for example, to clock out). They are created on the phone and arrive approximately on time, not to the second.
  • Run after reboot — so that reminders are rescheduled after the phone restarts.
  • Keep the phone awake — a service permission added by the notifications plugin while a reminder fires.
  • Biometrics (fingerprint) — only if you turn on fingerprint lock instead of the code.
  • Network state is read by Google Play services during sign-in and backup; the app itself does not request it.
  • The app does not request the camera or location.

6. Sharing with third parties

We share and sell nothing, because we receive nothing. The only exception is the backup file in your own Google Drive, if you turn it on.

7. How to delete your data

  • On the phone: Settings → "Clear data" erases everything the app stores, or simply uninstall the app.
  • The Google Drive backup: in the app, "Delete backup from Google Drive", or in your Google account: Security → Third-party access → N1Time → delete app data.
  • We have no accounts and no app data, so there is nothing to delete on our side. The exception is your emails to support@nex1on.com: they stay in our mailbox until you ask us to delete them (write to support@nex1on.com).

8. Children

The app is not intended for children and does not collect information about them.

9. Changes

If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page before such a version is released and state the date.

10. Contact

support@nex1on.com — data questions and help with the app (support page).
