What does the hosting need?

PHP 8.2 or newer, MySQL or MariaDB. No SSH and no composer: the engine is installed by unpacking an archive and running the wizard in the browser.

How do I install it?

Unpack the archive on your hosting and open the site in the browser. The wizard checks the server, asks for database access and creates the owner account.

Can I install a module by uploading an archive through the admin panel?

No, and this decision is final. A page that accepts an archive and unpacks executable code onto the server is the same as remote access to the server. Modules are installed from the studio's site ("Updates → Modules from our site", with fingerprint verification) or as files in the modules folder.

What happens to the site if I disable a module?

Its pages, menu item and blocks disappear; the data stays in the database. Enable it again and everything comes back. Only deleting the module removes its data, and for that you have to type the module name by hand.

How many languages does the engine speak?

In release 0.9.7 the interface is translated into English, Russian and Ukrainian. The code of the next release adds Norwegian, Polish, Swedish and Lithuanian. Records (pages, news, products, categories) have a language and are linked to their translations.

What does the engine send to the studio's server?

Only when checking for updates: the domain name, the engine version and the PHP version. The check can be switched off under "Settings → General → Updates → Check for updates".

What if I broke the site with a setting?

The admin panel lives in the core and opens with any theme, even a broken one. Deleted records are in the "Bin", previous versions of texts are in the revision history, database backups are under "System health → Database backups".

Where is the report on what is wrong with the site?

"System health": server, queue, cache, backups, file integrity and the list "What protects the site". "SEO and accessibility": what gets in the way of search engines and readers.
