If something goes wrong

The installer stopped

• “The database server is too old” — ask the hosting support to move the database to MariaDB 10.4+ or MySQL 8.0+.
• “Database access denied”, “No such database”, “The database server does not answer” — check the database name, user and password in the hosting panel.
• “Could not finish creating the tables” — nothing is lost: press “Repeat”, the step continues from where it stopped.
• A white screen after the “Database” step — open `storage/logs`: the last line names the cause; most often there is no write permission on `config` or `storage`.
• The installer asks for an owner but you have created one — the site is installed, go to `/admin`.

Database backup

“System → System status → Database backups”: a backup is made with one button and kept next to the site. To restore it, use the “Backups” page or the command `php nex1on db:restore <file> --yes`; the command first backs up the current state itself. If the hosting has no console, the same file can be loaded through phpMyAdmin.
