Hosting requirements

In short

• PHP 8.2 or newer (tested on 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4).
• Database: MariaDB 10.4+ or MySQL 8.0+.
• Web server: Apache or LiteSpeed with mod_rewrite, or nginx (a sample configuration is in the archive, `samples/nginx.conf`).
• Writable folders: `config`, `storage`, `public/uploads`.
• No Composer, Node.js or SSH needed.

PHP extensions

Required: `pdo_mysql`, `mbstring`, `json`, `openssl`, `fileinfo`. The installer will not go on without them. Desirable: `gd` (image resizing), `zip` (moving the site), `curl`, `exif`, `sodium`, `dom`: the site runs without them, but some features are switched off.

PHP settings

Preferably `memory_limit` of 128M or more, and `upload_max_filesize` and `post_max_size` of 8M or more.

Site root

Best of all, make the `public` folder the root: then the engine code is not reachable from a browser at all. If the root cannot be changed, the `.htaccess` in the archive root does the job (Apache); for nginx use the sample configuration.

If the installer stops

A red item on the “Server” step is labelled: what to fix is written under it; fix it and press “Check again”. Installation is safe to repeat: what is done is skipped. A detailed “what you see — what to do” table is in `docs/trebovaniya.md` inside the archive (Russian).
