Get started in 3 steps
- Download the archive and unpack it on your hosting.
- Open your site address in the browser.
- Follow the installer: database, administrator, language.
Server requirements
Server
- PHP 8.2 or newer (tested 8.2–8.4)
- MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.2+; tested: MySQL 8.0, MariaDB 10.4/10.6
- Apache with mod_rewrite (.htaccess included) or nginx/LiteSpeed with a rewrite to index.php
- HTTPS is recommended

- zip — installing modules and themes from an archive, backups
- curl — add-on catalogue, languages, updates

Internet
The site must be able to reach the internet: the add-on catalogue, languages, updates and licence checks come from the nex1on.com server. Hosting without outgoing internet access is not supported.
Not needed
SSH, composer, Node.js. Cron is recommended: without it, mail and the queue run on visitors’ requests, one job at a time, and scheduled tasks (cleanup, reminders, checks) only run from the “Run now” button in the panel.
The installation wizard checks the server itself and shows what is missing. How to install
