N1Time: what's new in October

N1Time has received a large set of updates for companies and for people who track their own hours.

Door terminal. After a card or code, the employee sees their own view with the "Time" and "Month" tabs: hours for the week and month, a forgotten shift and a "Set clock-out time" request. A new "Maintenance" mode is for when the tablet is replaced or moved: the terminal shows a grey screen for that time; where a card works without a PIN, taps are saved and recorded afterwards; where a PIN is required, clock-ins are not accepted during that time.

Planning. Week templates, open shifts and announcements for staff.

Timesheets. Hours of a shift in the night the clocks change are counted by the exact moment of the clock-in. There is now an acceptance log and a "Not accepted, and why" section; a closed month can be reopened only with a reason.

Payroll. A configurable CSV for payroll export: columns, their order, delimiter and decimal sign.

Support. Support can access a company only with the owner's permission.

Tapping again. If an employee taps the card again after clocking out, the terminal asks what to do: continue the shift, undo a clock-out made by mistake, or start a new shift. The time between leaving and coming back appears in the timesheet as a separate unpaid "Absence" line (a gap within the shift, not leave or sick leave). The company sets how many minutes are allowed for "continue" and "undo".

Lunch and rest. If there are several shifts in one day, the automatic lunch is deducted once per day from the total hours. Rest between shifts shorter than the country's minimum shows up in "Exceptions".

Different countries. Each site has its own time zone and country: public holidays and standard hours follow the site's country, and calendars for Finland and Denmark have been added. Clock-ins use the server clock, not the tablet's; if a tablet's clock drifts, the company account shows a warning.

App. Version 1.32.0: the choice after clocking out, "Absence" in the day and week, a mode without a company, announcements from the accountant and a "plan → actual" week.
